As a former bellman at the Westin Hotel in Whistler, I had the opportunity to see firsthand just how incredible this winter wonderland truly is. One of the highlights of my job was interacting with guests who were visiting Whistler for the first time and seeing the look of awe on their faces when they stepped outside and saw the stunning snow-covered mountains.

I also had the chance to experience some of the amazing winter activities that Whistler has to offer. One of my personal favourites was snowmobiling, which was an absolute blast. The feeling of cruising through fresh powder on a powerful snowmobile is hard to describe - it's a true adrenaline rush! I also loved taking the gondola up to the top of the mountain and taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Seeing the sun set over the mountains is truly a sight to behold.

One of the biggest perks of working at the Westin was having easy access to some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the world. Whenever I had a free day, I would hit the slopes with some of my coworkers and we would spend the day racing down the mountain and exploring new trails. I was lucky enough to experience some truly unforgettable moments on the slopes - from carving fresh powder to tackling challenging black diamond runs. I also loved the fact that there were so many different areas of the mountain to explore, each with its own unique features and challenges. Whether you're looking for wide-open runs or technical tree runs, Whistler has something for everyone.

And when we were done for the day, we would head back to the hotel and relax in the hot tub while sipping on hot cocoa. There's something truly magical about soaking in a hot tub while the snow falls gently around you. It's the perfect way to unwind after a long day on the slopes.

But Whistler is not just about skiing and snowboarding. The resort offers a range of other winter activities that are just as fun and exciting. For example, I loved going tubing with my friends. It's a great way to let loose and feel like a kid again. And if you're feeling really adventurous, you can try bobsledding at the Whistler Sliding Centre. It's a thrill ride like no other - you'll reach speeds of up to 125 km/hr as you race down the track!

Overall, my time in Whistler was unforgettable. Thanks Global Work & Travel!
